Rapid Plate Freezing Technology
Plasma freezing occurs between two refrigerated plates that press the product, maximizing surface contact for efficient heat transfer. These plates cool to -50°C, ensuring rapid and uniform freezing.
Remote Monitoring & Control
Arrowsmith & Grant Refrigeration provides remote connectivity for real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support. These units can also be fully controlled off-site, enhancing ease of use and providing assistance to on-site staff when needed.
Deployment Across Australia
The Australian Red Cross Blood Service (Lifeblood) utilizes Rapid Plasma Freezer (RPF) units in all processing centres.

We offer two RPF models, designed for different processing capacities:
- RPF 50 – Double chamber, holds up to 50 plasma packs, with a remote condensing unit.
- RPF 75 – Triple chamber, holds up to 75 plasma packs, with a remote condensing unit.
